During the production of our magazines, we occasionally run into a problem with empty pages. As a result, I have had to throw together ads to fill space. Usually there is little or no direction as to the content. The results are based on my understanding of the company's needs as well as what I have on hand to work with. This spread ad was designed to steer active women to our web sites. The photo is stock and the green strip was selected by sampling the tone of the vegetation along the trail. I had about an hour to throw this together.
