This image of a B-17G was created using both Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. First a line drawing was worked up using a digital photo of a scale scale model I built. Then I brought the drawing into Photoshop to serve as a guide for airbrushing. The final image size is 12 inches by 18 inches at 300 dpi. My goal was to make the plane as photo realistic as possible.
